Submission Guidelines

How to Submit

Send your work as JPGs (for images) or text documents (Word, PDF, or plain text) to:

Include a brief bio (2-3 sentences) and let us know if this is your first time being published.

Publication Schedule

The Green Lanes Review is published quarterly. Contributions received before the 20th of each deadline month will be considered for the following issue:

Spring Issue

Deadline: March 20th

Published: April

Summer Issue

Deadline: June 20th

Published: July

Autumn Issue

Deadline: September 20th

Published: October

Winter Issue

Deadline: December 20th

Published: January

Important Notes
  • Multiple Submissions: You may submit up to 5 poems or 2 prose pieces per submission period.
  • Previously Published: We accept previously published work if you retain rights. Please let us know where it appeared.
  • Response Time: We aim to respond within 8 weeks of each deadline.
  • Payment: We're a community publication and cannot offer payment, but all contributors receive a free copy of the issue.
  • Rights: We ask for first publication rights only. Rights revert to you after publication.
